New Sonny's Real Pit Bar-B-Q Location Opens in Oviedo
Sonny's Franchise Company announced that they have officially opened their 11th Central Florida Sonny's Real Pit Bar-B-Q location in Oviedo. The Oviedo location is the first in Central Florida with the new Sonny's "look" including a full service liquor bar, an outside patio, more space in the dining room and several design changes.

MAITLAND, FL, May 1, 2006 - Sonny's Franchise Company announced today that they have officially opened their 11th Central Florida Sonny's Real Pit Bar-B-Q location in Oviedo. The Oviedo location is the first in Central Florida with the new Sonny's "look" including a full service liquor bar, an outside patio, more space in the dining room and several design changes. "We try to make business simple at Sonny's. We ask our customers what they want and then we try to give it to them", said Bob Yarmuth, Owner and Chief Executive Officer of Sonny's Franchise Company, "we are excited about being in Oviedo. The community has welcomed us with open arms." The Honorable Tom Walters, Mayor of Oviedo and the Honorable John Bush, Mayor of Winter Springs, welcomed the new restaurant to the neighborhood last week at the ceremonial ribbon cutting.
The General Manager for the Oviedo Sonny's is Beth Kanupp. Beth has worked with Sonny's for over three years. She is formerly the General Manager for the Sonny's Real Pit Bar-B-Q on Alafaya trail.
