Sonny's Bar-B-Q in Palm Harbor to Unveil a Whole New Sonny's
Sonny's Real Pit Bar-B-Q, the largest barbecue chain in the country, is temporarily suspending service in its Palm Harbor location on February 19th with plans to resume service Early June -unveiling a whole new look, including a new full-service liquor bar with Flat Screen TV's as well as a new outdoor patio. A Starbucks Coffee will be built on the same site adjacent to the New Sonny's Bar-B-Q.

PALM HARBOR, FL, Feb 19, 2007 - Sonny's Real Pit Bar-B-Q, the largest barbecue chain in the country, is temporarily suspending service in its Palm Harbor location on February 19th with plans to resume service Early June –unveiling a whole new look, including a new full-service liquor bar with Flat Screen TV's as well as a new outdoor patio. A Starbucks Coffee will be built on the same site adjacent to the New Sonny's Bar-B-Q.
"The new Sonny's will continue serving the same authentic Bar-B-Q we're known for, but there will be some noticeable changes," said Edward Titen, the store's franchisee. The restaurant will also have a Banquet/Party Room to seat up to 50 people. Sonny's patrons can continue to expect a relaxed, casual dining experience with service that Titen describes as fast and friendly.
The new restaurant will be hiring locally for several additional positions including managers, servers and bar staff. Currently, Titen has three restaurants and employs over 120 people. Sonny's Real Pit Bar-B-Q in Palm Harbor was opened in 1981. During the remodeling phase, customers can visit Sonny's Bar-B-Q located at 5130 Little Road, New Port Richey or Sonny's Bar-B-Q at 2250 Seminole Blvd, Largo.
