Sonny's Team Marches for Babies
April 1st thru April 25th, for the third consecutive year, Sonny's Bar-B-Q restaurants will raise much needed money for the March of Dimes, March for Babies (formerly known as WalkAmerica). Each store will receive a packet of "baby step" cut-outs in their payroll packs on Monday.

ORLANDO FL, April 4, 2008 - April 1st thru April 25th, for the third consecutive year, Sonny's Bar-B-Q restaurants will raise much needed money for the March of Dimes, March for Babies (formerly known as WalkAmerica). Each store will receive a packet of "baby step" cut-outs in their payroll packs on Monday. Each cut-out is $1 and all the proceeds benefit the March of Dimes. Last year Sonny's raised $10,000 to help save babies.
All Sonny's Franchise Company corporate locations in Orlando, Gainesville, and Polk County will be selling small "baby step" cut-outs, which are cards each representing a baby that can be saved with contributions. The restaurants will provide guests the option of adding $1 to their check as a donation to the March for Babies fundraising effort.
Monique Yeager, Director of Corporate Affairs & Marketing for Sonny's Franchise Company and Past Chair of the March of Dimes of Florida says, "The March of Dimes is an excellent cause, and Sonny's is committed to helping give every baby a fighting chance." Sonny's Bar-B-Q will also have a team that will participate in the March for Babies on April 26th at Lake Lily Park in Maitland.
