The local Sonny’s BBQ in Palm Harbor recently recognized Firefighter Kenny Lane of East Lake Fire Rescue with a Random Act of BBQ. Kenny was nominated by his father for the work he has done for the local community. He’s been serving with East Lake Fire Rescue since March of 2010. During his time there he has helped to save the lives of many. A couple of moments that his father told us about were Kenny saving the life of a child who was drowning in a pool and also helped to save the life of a man that was trapped under a mower in a pond! He is such an asset to the station. We are so grateful for his commitment to serve our community.
