10 Tools You’ll Need for Grilling Season

With the right  BBQ tools and equipment, you’ll be smokin’ up some BBQ that will be sure to make your guest’s mouths water this grilling season. We asked Shannon what his must-have gadgets and we think these will do just the trick.  

  1. BBQ Digital Meat Thermometer  

This is a must have to ensure your meat is cooked to the perfect temperature. They come in a few different shapes and sizes, some even have Bluetooth capabilities. 

  1. Fire Starter Cubes  

These do just the trick to get your BBQ fired up quickly. It’s great for lighting wood or charcoal.  

  1. BBQ Chimney  

This is important because it holds your charcoal while they heat up and keeps ‘em nice and secure.  

  1. Extra Long BBQ Tongs/Spatula  

Trust us, this will save you from the heat your grill or smoker can give off! They can heat up to 550 degrees, your hands and arms will thank you.  

  1. BBQ Hot Gloves  

These are much stronger than your everyday kitchen mitt, and very important to keep you safe.  

  1. Cutting Board  

This is a must-have. The cutting boards that have liquid catching alleys are helpful to keep things neat.  

  1. Knife Sharpener  

Juicy meat calls for a sharp knife. It makes it easier to present a beautifully cut slab of brisket.  

  1. Pink or Brown Butcher Paper  

Pink or brown because they’re free from chemical additives. It also helps speed up the cookin’ process without altering your meat.  

  1. Aluminum Foil  

This helps to get your cleanup done in a jiffy so you can enjoy your Pit-masterpiece.  

  1. Disposable Foil Pans 

When you’re cookin’ for a small group or a party of 30 – this saves you time to get your food on the table as fast as possible.
