At Sonny’s, kindness isn’t just a value, it’s the heart of everything we do. Today, we’re excited to announce that Elden is stepping into the role of Chief Kindness Officer, and we can’t wait for you to get to know him.  


Elden’s Journey

From Team Member to Chief Kindness Officer 

Since joining ACG BBQ, LLC as the Gulf Coast Sales & Marketing Manager nearly a year ago, Elden has achieved what many would in three years. His genuine care for people, infectious energy, and natural leadership have made him a standout member of the Sonny’s family.   

Elden lives by the motto of positively impacting lives through small acts of kindness. He’s been a mentor to his colleagues, organized support for team members in need, and volunteered with organizations like Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Northwest Florida, Autism Pensacola, ARC Gateway, Habitat for Humanity, and the Rally Foundation during his time at ACG BBQ, LLC. His commitment to giving back also let him serve on the board of SEASTARS Aquatics, where he works to create opportunities for children facing unique challenges. Every gesture, whether big or small, shows his dedication to making a difference.

What makes Elden truly special is the personal touch he brings to every interaction. Whether he’s snapping selfies, riding his signature scooler, or creating memorable moments at events, his enthusiasm lights up every room. Elden’s approach to leadership isn’t just about achieving goals. It’s about making sure every team member, guest, and community feels valued and inspired. 

As our new Chief Kindness Officer, Elden will work closely with our Kindness Crew to amplify our community initiatives and spread the spirit of BBQ far and wide. We’re excited to see the positive changes he will lead and the countless ways he’ll continue to inspire kindness both within and beyond our restaurants.
