In this recipe, we’ll make sure you have enough supplies to make two mouthwaterin’ sandwiches. Pro-tip: Save some time and swing by your local Sonny’s BBQ for some Certified Angus Beef Brisket by the pound. It’s just one of the slow-smoked BBQ meats fresh from our smoker that you can pick up anytime you need.
What You Need for the Brisket Grilled Cheese

Cook Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients List
- 2 lbs chopped Texas Style Brisket Point
- 4 slices garlic bread
- Butter
- 4 slices Cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/3 cup kosher salt
- 1/3 cup freshly ground black pepper
Step-by-Step to Brisket Grilled Cheese Perfection
- Pre-heat skillet/griddle, coat with butter to prevent sticking
- Melt shredded cheeses, mix with chopped Brisket to create creamy consistency. Set aside.
- Place one slice of bread on skillet and one slice of cheddar cheese on top of that. Let sizzle for 1-2 minutes.
- Spoon cheesy brisket mixture on top of bread, then top with the other slice of cheese and bread.
- Flip and cook until cheese slices are melted.
- Carefully remove from heat, and enjoy.
- Repeat steps 3-6 as needed for multiple sandwiches.
