In honor of Valentine’s Day, our Tampa area Sonny’s crew provided a BBQ feast for the families living in The Spring of Tampa Bay. The Spring of Tampa Bay is a shelter for victims of domestic violence and their families. Their mission is to help victims rebuild their lives and raise awareness to prevent domestic violence from occurring. Since their founding in 1977, The Spring has provided sanctuary and services to more than 60,00 abused adults and their children.
We were honored to be there alongside the Tampa Bay Lightning’s “Bolts Better Halves” — the Tampa Bay Lightning’s wives and girlfriends who provided Valentine’s day gifts for the parents and children that stay at the shelter. There were even a few Lightning players who came to play street hockey with the kids!
